Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Is there an age requirement for the Festival
There is no age limit for our Yoga Workshop, Charleston Dance Class or Crafty Workshops. These sessions are designed primarily for adults but young people are welcome to join if they wish.
For our Sofar Sounds gig, tickets are required for anyone older than 2 years. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. The night's content may not be child-friendly and all audience members are expected to be attentive whilst the artists perform. Please be aware that there will be alcohol at the event. You may be asked for ID when buying alcohol if you are lucky enough to look under 25.

Q: Will there be food available
There will be a range of snacks available during the day including crisps and cheese boards. From 5pm, there will be a BBQ with lots of delicious things available to eat. There will be a vegetarian and vegan option available.
?
Q: Are animals allowed at the event
The event is being hosted on a working farm so animals are not permitted unless permission has been requested in advance of the event. Please email hannah-beth@thelittlesurprisescompany.co.uk at least 48 hours before the event if you need any further assistance with this.
?
Q: Does this venue have disability access
Yes. There is a ramp to access the entrance to the venue and there is a large disabled toilet. Please not that the ground is uneven in places. Please contact us in advance if you need any specific assistance on the day and we will do our best to help make your day as easy and enjoyable as possible.
?
Q: Can I bring my own Food & Drink
There will be food available to purchase and a bar available all day so we kindly ask you not to bring any other food or drinks into the event.
?
Q: What time should I arrive to the event
The Barn will open at 9:30am for registration for our Yoga workshop. For all other sessions, we suggest that you arrive 15 minutes before the workshop to give you time to get a drink & find a good seat.
For the Sofar event in the evening, you can arrive from 2:45pm for the 4pm show and 6:45pm for the 8pm show. We ask that your whole party arrives at the same time to allow us to check you into the event as quickly as possible.
?
Q: What covid restrictions are in place
We will be following all Government Guidance with regards to Covid restrictions. We want to ensure that everyone at our festival feels as safe as possible and so will be asking guests to show their NHS Covid Pass to show that they have either been double vaccinated or have received a negative lateral flow test.
If you have any Covid symptoms, we would ask you not to attend the event.
Our venue has large barn doors which will allow the space to be well ventilated and we encourage guests to wear masks if they would feel more comfortable doing so. All of our spaces will be cleaned frequently throughout the day to ensure that we reduce the risk of spread between guests.
If Covid restrictions change (we really hope that they don't!) and the event has to be postponed or cancelled, we will offer you the chance to transfer your ticket or receive a full refund.
?
Q: Is there anything else I need to bring to the event with me
The event is in a real life barn - this means it may be a little bit chilly. We would encourage you to bring warm clothes with you & if you are joining for either of our gigs, a thick blanket to sit on.
?
Q: Can I get cancel my ticket
We are not able to offer a refund for tickets for this event. If you are unable to make the event for any reason, we would encourage you to gift your ticket to a loved one that would like to attend in your place.
