A very special 'Something'

We hosted our first workshop in collaboration with 'Something London' last Saturday and had the best afternoon. In the most unexpected of locations, tucked away in a corner of Hackney, is the lovely oasis of greenery that is their HQ.

We were greeted with a cup of fresh mint tea at the door by Kirby and shown into the studio which is filled with beautiful plants hanging from the ceiling and shelves. It is impossible not to feel relaxed in such a peaceful space!

We were taught to make two body scrubs, the first with coffee grounds and lavender and the second, oats, Himalayan rock salt and grapefruit! They smelt delicious. We then made our own bath soaks and an essential oils mix - each with a different combination of fragrances. To make a perfect afternoon even more special, there were incredible homemade treats to provide us with sustenance during our scrub making!

Kirby first set up Something London to provide affordable, interesting workshops that provided a space for like-minded people to meet and unwind from the busy world of London life and she has done an incredible job. From flower crown making to hanging herb gardens and personalised stationary, each workshop is a real treat! We cannot recommend highly enough. They are open from 3-7:30pm most days and all weekend and also offer the studio for hire.
